Ruby, the Georgia peach
My ex boyfriend had a huge thing for Brittany Daniels and while I loved Sweet Valley High, I didn’t really get it (cause quite frankly, I had no idea what else she was in). Anyways, after seeing what she’s like in real life and what she’s doing for her friend, Ruby, I think I’m in love with her, too.
Seriously, stuff like this makes me really see what insignifcant things I get upset about in my life…and quite frankly, I feel foolish. I want to change.
A) I have the biggest new crush
B) I have the biggest new crush on model Luke Worrell
C) I have the biggest new crush on model Luke Worrell and fiancé Kelly Osbourne as a couple
Fashion Plates
via google reads and I couldn’t help but gasp in amazement. I SOOO had this when I was younger AND used it ALL. THE. TIME! Seriously, it was like the coolest thing ever and I had 8 million different outfits made and posted up all around my house. I bet it’s still somewhere in my parents attic, and I desperately want to check as soon as I possibly can so I can play with it again.

NYE
I might be saying “Happy New Year” a lot in my next bunch of posts. There’s just so much to say and so much to cover.
Basically spent year’s eve in BK.
Was supposed to be a small gathering, but turned more into another bash. Jesse made us devil-ed eggs and some vodka/orange drink that I actually liked (not a huge vodka fan, but he taught me his rule of thumb…or fingers, if you will).
Parker made everyone feel at home, like always. Dagger was in MIA status spending the holidays with the fam up in Maine (she was insanely missed), and Decker was in town from Austin (whoopeee!).
We started off with movies, music, and games…Partini, to be exact. That will easily become a must for every future party we have. Then at about 5 minutes before the ball dropped our party more than doubled in size and we passed around the champagne and danced the rest of the night away
Another great year rung in with my best friends. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Let's talk sMac!
So yeah, as you saw in my last post, there will be lots of silly faces and macbook photos in the year 2009. Don’t hate. Apparently, it just never gets old.
Upon finding out the Christy can actually, in fact, cross her eyes…we took many of these kind of photos:
She tried on that one, she really did. Then, for a moment, we tried to act serious:
…but it didn’t last long:Christy repeatedly told me I looked like a Disney cartoon, and I repeatedly told her I love her.
Geez louise, I love my friends…every bit of them…and into itty bitty pieces!

Design by the Book
What a magnificent idea. Design by the Book is a cool collaborative project between design*sponge, one of my favorite blogs (yes, I’m basically stealing this whole post from Hello, Elements, but seriously design*sponge is a favorite blog of mine, too) and the New York Public Library.
The premise is five Brooklyn artists (a glass blower, graphic designer, letterpress printer and textile designer) are invited to go to the New York Public Library to find inspiration. Their journey from exploration and discovery through final project will be documented.
The above video is the debut video in the series where we meet the artists. There’s more to come that I look forward to watching. I seriously appreciate art so much, I just wish I had the money to support it as well.

Dolled up for Christmas
