World's Best Dancer...you choose.

Popout

This video Jim shared on his Tumblr reminds me of my beloved dancing viking.

Popout

I can never watch it just half-way thru. It is one of my favorite youtube video. Maybe, it is partially due to the fact that it is the spitting image of Graham, and it is just ridiculously hilarious.

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken

As much as this terrifies me to think horses actually did this, this is one of my all-time favorite movies EVER.
It makes me cry every time. I have such nostalgia from this. And I love the name Sonora. Seriously, I wish I owned this on DVD instead of taped from television on VHS.

Ba da Bah Ba da Bah Bahh da!

Their music has been more influential in my life than any other, and I feel like my life is progressing in a similar route or path as they’ve taken their music over the past years. It’s very personal and hard to explain, but I feel like, everyday, I am changing…growing up, taking more responsibility, taking chances, making little improvements where I can without losing who I am.

Upon my first listen, I read along the lyrics wanting to only hear the words. Those words, the story line, the fairytale…I cannot get it out of my head. I’m truly in love with this song.

I love the folk sound (not sure if it’ll actually sound like this on the track), but I’ve been digging folk music a lot as of the past six months, so this will definitely be a star on my current playlist. I cannot wait for this album to hit stores at the end of the month.

EDIT: So I should’ve know this, the acoustic version sounds folk-y because, well, it’s acoustic, but the real version is a lot more rock. While I still love it, my heart belongs to the lighter version. However, the live concert version definitely deserves a listen to. It kinda makes me wanna dance around, shake my head, and pump my fists a la non-Parker.

There’s something magnificent about this commercial for Victoria Beckham’s new line sold at Bergdorf’s. Click here to see it.

A blog about BFFs

My friend, Patrick, and his bestie, Carolyn, got to play on a fun gameshow for Myspace TV…basically the “best friends” version of The Newlywed Game. I thought it was quite adorable, so I thought I would share.

Season 02 Episode 02

Hmmmm, I wonder how well I would do with my besties. Ummm, next sleepover…you curbies, are you down?

If you liked Patrick & Carolyn’s chemistry, check out their blog, A Blog About Things. I always love reading what they’re currently getting into.

For the love of fashion

I would love to see this (she has always intrigued/scared me):

And then this, too (I’ve always loved her and secretly wanna name one of my daughters Coco):

Impromptu Dins

A lovely dinner made by your favorite besties.

We had a marvelous salad, pasta & garlic bread, wine, and even pie (now, dubbed the Unicorn Pie…it’s magically delicious). We are really meant to be the next Golden Girls in 55 years.

Justin Bieber

Before I finish ranting about liking a Miley Cyrus song, I just have to say I came across this gem last week (Thank you, Gaby, for improving my life). Let me tell you, this boy had us bridal maids weak in the knees. I am so in love…sorry, Tyler.

PS…why is Mitchy C. making a cameo at 0:48?

Anyway, if you think this is all just a bunch of pop music with an adorable kid who sings well but really just has the personality…um, listen to his vocals. I swear, I’m swooning over a 13-year old.

Also, I’ve seen this kid sing, play piano, guitar, AND drums. What is he, an alien?

10 things I have to say about me

Holy shiii…let me get back to blog life. Soooooo much has gone down in the past week or so. I can’t wait to recap the JMJWedding! Since I have so much I wanna share, maybe I’ll just link it/say my peace?

1) An amazing cover of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.” I sorta have a crush on this dude now.

2) I’m entirely over dealing with teenagers and young adults. I can’t wait until they step into the real world and get stampeded.

3) I’M 27! (Oh no…I don’t think I’ve ever revealed my age on here before. Talk about denial.)

4) non-Parker is/was the most beautiful bride ever…and I’m not just saying that cause she’s ma bestie.

5) I have a tumblr! Welcome to Unicorn Island. Come follow me.

6) Have I mentioned I got an iPhone? Two words: Life. Changing.

7) I think brunch was the best thing ever invented. Mi mi mi mimosa!

8) The Time Traveler’s Wife (movie-version) was highly disappointing. I actually expected it to be.

9) My mom makes the best pie, ever!

10) I just bought the Miley Cyrus song, Party In The U.S.A. and I like LOVE it. What can I say, I’m a Pop (not crack) addict.

Brilliant in all senses of the word

I can only hold up for so long…a recap to come full of pictures & videos sometime later this week. For now, my newest obsession: Channing Johnson Photography.
